The Website Management page is the starting point for managing an individual website hosted by UltimateGallery.co.uk. It is from here that you are able to change details such those shown on the right.

The page is split into three main sections: Top, Middle and Bottom and the image below shows the first of these key areas.

  • Change website settings such as domain names and colours
  • Enable accounts for people to perform content management functions via our Management Console
  • View reports that tell you things like the number of people that are currently visiting your websites
  • Add, edit and delete pages that form part of the website being managed.


  • A) SETTINGS - allows you to change information specific to the way in which an individual website looks and functions:
  • Website URL Management allows you to change the URL to which your website responds.
  • Properties Management allows you to set details like the language, the default page to load when an end-user first visits your site and the text that appears in the browser title bar.
  • Colour Management allows you to change the overall look of your website by either selecting a pre-defined skin or uploading your own top and left bar graphics and setting your own colours.
  • Attribute Management allows you to set titles that are used in specific modules and are common across your website.
  • Shop Attribute Management allows you to define sub-divisions for shop items, such as small, medium and large.
  • Font Management appears when you have chosen not to use our pre-defined skins and allows you to define font styles and sizes for common textual elements that appear on your website.

  • B) USER ACCESS - provides the facility to manage the people that have access to your website.
  • Content Managers are people who are allowed to manage content on your website via the Management Console. These users are also able to view password protected pages on your website.
  • Website Readers are people who have access to password protected pages on your website, but cannot log in via the Management Console.

    C) SITE STATISTICS - provides access to the following:
  • Usage information including Visitors, Page Impressions, Page Hits, Browsers used to access your website, Operating Systems being used by end-users while accessing your website and the number of Current Users).

    Costs and discounts associated with your account, which can be found under Billable Statistics.
  • Shopping Basket Invoices contains a history of recent invoices generated by your shopping basket if you have one available on your website.
  • Set Go Live Date allows you to reset the site statistics.

  • D) TOP MENU BAR - runs across the top of your website and contains a horizontal menu. Clicking the Title allows you to modify settings such as menu location and spacing, upload a logo and set additional text. Clicking Edit Manu allows you to define the menu link text and the pages that should load when a user clicks on a menu link.


    E) LEFT MENU BAR - runs down the left hand side of your website and contains a vertical menu. Clicking the Title allows you to modify settings such as menu location and spacing, upload a logo and set additional text. Clicking Edit Manu allows you to define the menu link text and the pages that should load when a user clicks on a menu link. You are also able to Add and Delete left menu bars and so define menus that are specific to individual main pages.

    MAIN PAGE - holds the main content for an individual module and provides the following options:
  • Clicking the Title allows you to modify settings, define text and upload graphics.
  • Edit Menu may appear for a particular page. A number of modules allow you to define sub-menus and clicking Edit Menu allows you to define the menu link text and the pages that should load when a user clicks on a menu link.
  • Edit Content may appear for a particular page. This allows you to define repeatable content that can also be edited via the Management Console.
  • Add allows you to add a new module to your website.
  • Import allows you to copy an existing page from any one of your websites. All layout options and page specific text and graphics are copied across, excluding any repeatable content.
  • Delete allows you to remove a page from your website. It should be noted that the default page will not be removed without first selecting an alternative home page.
